Graduate of University of Vienna Medical School, came to Newark in 1939. For 25 years worked as a part time physician for the Newark Board of Education and in the 1960s led the drive for better sex education in Newark schools, creating a training program for teachers. She was a proponent of abortion rights.
She also had a private office in Newark as a gynecologist. She was president of the American Women’s Medical Association, fellow of the American Fertility Society and member of the NJ Medical Society. After 1967, she move her offices to South Orange.
