1880-1952

Antoinette Perrett was a photographer and magazine writer, who wrote for national publications, specializing in gardens. Her work appeared in magazines such as House Beautiful, House and Garden, and Charm. She was the sister of Elsa Rehmann.

She also had a recurring feature “Nature News Gathered in the Essex County Parks” in the Newark Sunday Call, and at least one article in Vogue.

Antoinette lived at 492 Mt. Prospect Ave, living in Newark until 1928. She graduated Newark High School in 1897 and then attended Vassar. In the early 1900s she was President of the College Women’s Club of Newark.
