Born in Newark. Listed as a nurse in city directories from 1923. Appointed as a visiting nurse for the Board of Health March 1926, and a nurse at Newark City Hospital August 1926, both temporary appointments. Listed as a visiting nurse in Health Department reports 1927-1929, and a nurse or “Public Health Nurse” in city directories and censuses through her death, associated with the Board of Health.

In 1938, New Jersey Herald News called her “a trained nurse connected with the Board of Health”.

A member of the Phyllis Wheatly Society. Secretary of the North Jersey Nurses Graduate Association. President of the Community Hospital Auxiliary. She was also secretary of the Freedman Hospital Nurse’s Alumni Club.
